Melting Potato Fondants


  • 1 box Nando’s PERi-PERi Bag & Bake (choose your flavour)
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 200g unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 200ml vegetable stock
  • 6 green olives, sliced
  • 30g finely grated hard cheese
  • handful of fresh sage
  • salt to taste
Melting Potato Fondants

Cooking Instructions


Preheat the oven to 190 °C.


Slice the ends off the potatoes. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. When hot, add the potatoes cut-side down.


Fry for 5 - 7 minutes, or until deep golden brown, then flip and fry on the other side. Add the butter to the pan to melt.


Place all the ingredients in the bag and add the flavour sachet. Fold the bag at the top and place on a baking tray in the oven for 30 - 40 minutes.


Remove the melting potatoes from the bag, spoon over the sauce, olives and sage leaves to serve.
